Takashi Kajihara's Obituary
Takashi Kajihara
100, passed away in Honolulu on June 18, 2023. A graduate of Lahainaluna High School and the University of Hawaii, he was a former high school agriculture teacher who advised Future Farmers of America and Young Farmers chapters on Kauai and Maui. He was a member of the Hawaii Territorial Guard, the Varsity Victory Volunteers, the 442nd Regimental Combat Team, and the Military Intelligence Service.
He was predeceased by his wife Toshiko Asato Kajihara. He is survived by children Emi Troeger, Ken (Sallie) Kajihara, Sue (Paul) Nozaki, and Tom M. (Deidre) Kajihara; four grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. In addition, he is survived by siblings Teruko Kuwahara and Frederick Kajihara. Private services were held in Honolulu.
