Tomoe (Yoshida) Sato,96, passed away on May 31, 2023. Married to Rodney Sato (deceased) of Pahala, Hawaii. The eldest daughter of Kiyoshi Yoshida and Sonoko Furukawa, and sister to Harold Yoshida (deceased), Doris Tagami (deceased), Mildred Yoshida (deceased), Edith Kanda, Dorothy Kusumoto. Survived by children Penny (Leslie) Kiyabu, Laurie (Warren) Naruto, Dan (Tami Hisamoto) Sato, 5 grandchildren, and1 great granddaughter.
Tomoe lived and worked as a barber (Sato Barber Shop) in Pahala on the Big Island. She enjoyed sewing patchwork blankets, crocheting, cooking, baking and made ono maki-sushi. Playing cards and fishing were some of her favorite weekend fun. After raising 3 children, she loved to go to Las Vegas and won many jackpots.
