Trey Yoshio Furumori 's Obituary
Trey Furumori, beloved son, brother, nephew, cousin and friend, was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on April 1, 1994 and passed away on November 13, 2019 at the young age of 25. Trey attended Roosevelt High School and worked as a deck hand which gave him the opportunity to spend his days doing what he loved which was spending time in the ocean and fishing.
Over the last 3 years, Trey developed a passion for fishing which lead him to his most recent job. Trey also loved to body surf, skateboard, and spend time with his friends. His friends describe him as stoked on life, always smiling, and an all-around good guy who spread positive vibes. His aspiration was to one day partner with his brother to run a fishing charter business.
Trey is survived by his father, Ken Furumori; half brother, Daniel Kalahele; Uncle, Dennis Furumori, Aunt, June (Victor Nakashima) , cousins and friends.
Trey – You will be forever in our hearts and memories. We will always love you and miss your unforgettable smile. Until we meet again.
Trey’s Celebration of Life will be held at Diamond Head Mortuary on Saturday, December 14, 2019. Visitation starts at 5:00 pm and services begin at 6:00 pm.
