While sitting in my den, I see many things that remind of Wally's sense of humor, craftsmanship and creativeness. My grandson and I have shared many laughs when he sees the memento Wally gave to Jimmy Matsumoto and me after we visited the Calypso Club in Bangkok. My grandson calls it "the nasty" and often asks me to retell the story behind it, including looking at photos. Also in my den is the very creative Jack-in-the-Box head Wally made for many of us to use at several Palladium Halloween dances. It was a big hit. For my 70th Birthday, Wally made a very intricate wood carving of a dancing couple, I keep on my bookshelf. When I look through photo albums, I'm reminded of many good times we had together - including many group vacations. I'll always remember Wally's good sense of humor (except when discussing politics), his generosity, and his willingness to help others. Wally was a very accomplished person but the thing he was most proud of and made him the happiest was his family - Myrna, his children and grandchildren.
