Warfield Ellis Munce's Obituary
Warfield Ellis Munce, age 93, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 13, 2019. Warfield was born in Two Dot, Montana in 1926 to Warfield Estill Munce Sr. & Dorothy Chamberlain Munce. He joined the Navy in February of 1944 and served for 10 years being discharged as rank of Lieutenant in September of 1956. Warfield continued his career working as an Electrical & Industrial Engineer as contracted by the military/Federal Government. Warfield was known as a man truly motived and guided by his love of and for our Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ. After his retirement from this career, Warfield moved to Japan to 'work' as a part of the Plymouth Brethren Assembly Northgate Bible Chapel. His love of his Savior and for the people he served was a love that moved others to see one another as God sees, beyond ethnicity, stature, intelligence and belief... but as we all are, His children. Upon retiring from his work in Japan, he continued this 'way of life' and likewise continued his influence of how to live life as a true disciple of Christ. Warfield is remembered as one who loved as Christ loved... the heart and soul of others. He would invite those of other faiths to activities and functions yet not once would he feel the need to verbally preach his belief and faith. His ACTIONS were what influenced, not necessarily his words. While it is reported that Warfield has 'no living relatives', there are those who have been a part of Warfield's life that would challenge that statement. 'Relatives' by blood, maybe that statement is true, however 'relatives' by love and relationship connection, Warfield is survived by MANY 'relatives'. It is these relatives who remember him and love him as only family love, who are gathering together to celebrate those memories and experiences that they have been blessed to have shared with Warfield. Bring YOUR memories of Warfield and join together for a celebration of his life on Monday, January 27, 2020 at Diamond Head Mortuary Chapel. Visitation: 10:00 a.m. Service: 10:30 a.m. and Lunch/Fellowship from 11:30-1:00 p.m. Please bring your memories and love and join in this celebration!
