Wayne was an excellent bodyboarder whom I met about a decade ago at one of his favorite spots, called “Peaks.” Watching him skim over the coral heads on his bodyboard was inspiring. He was gracious, deeply compassionate, always friendly, and we’ll miss seeing him, but his spirit lives on, especially at Peaks and Sandbar.
