Dr. Edward G. Emerling entered his heavenly home on March 6, 2023, in Honolulu, Hawaii where he resided for the past 40 years. He was born on May 4, 1924 & was predeceased by his parents, brothers, John, Raymond, Joseph and James Read Obituary
Dr. Emerling headed the Economics Department within the School of Arts & Sciences at St. Bonaventure University when I attended there 1968-1972. Dr. Emerling had a profound impact on my understanding of American capitalism which helped me to a successful career in marketing research in the private sector. I will never forget him and the high standards that he demanded of his students. We hope to visit Honalulu next spring and I plan to visit his grave site.
