in honor of Frederick.

Mr. Orr had a great memory. He would get to know the associates and their family. Whenever he would see an associate, he would ask how the family is, children, etc. This is a special trait to see in a General Manager. I cherish the time I got to work with him at the PK.

Condolences to the Orr Ohana. Mr. Orr was what locals would refer to as: "A Good Bruddah", always receptive to the concerns and needs of those who functioned under his leadership.

One thing that Mr Orr did that convince me that he had life figured out.
Mr. Orr had two parking stalls at work, one for his 1980s Dotson pickup truck, and one for his Lexus luxury vehicle. During the week, Mr. Orr would drive the Lexus to work very business like very professional. Then on Fridays after work, Mr. Orr would take his Datsun home for his weekend. What resonated with me and what lesson I learned from that is, don’t forget your roots, leave work at work and enjoy your life. Work life balance was very important to him and it’s what he taught all of us.
