I am so sorry to hear of Ginger’s passing. I worked with her at Kapiolani hospital ‘71-‘72. My husband was stationed at Pearl Harbor at the time and I joined him after I graduated from nursing school in Chicago. We moved back to the mainland in’72.I loved working with Ginger. She was a wonderful leader and friend. We saw each other again in 2008 when we visited the island. She brought us a lei and took us to lunch. We had a great visit, reminiscing about old times. My husband and I will be revisiting Honolulu this August for our 50th wedding anniversary. I was hoping to meet with Ginger at that time. Again , I am so sorry for your loss. She was a great lady and the best supervisor I have ever had all these years of working as a nurse.
