I'm so sorry to hear about Ira's passing. He and I were teammates at Austin High. He was a good guy. I saw him last at an Austin High reunion. I can't think of anymore to say except I'm sure he will be missed by family and friends.

Sending heartfelt condolences to Ira's family during this difficult time. I knew Ira from Oahu Country Club. I always enjoyed our conversations and shared many laughs with him (he had an excellent sense of humor!) over the years. All the best, Toby Martyn
Aloha Keiko, Eric, Bryan, and Paul,
Sorry I can't be there. I'll be on Kaua'i with my mom and wife for the Thanksgiving weekend. I'm sorry to hear about Ira's passing. I remember all his jokes every time I saw him. There would be times right before I was going to coach a game and I was locked into my game plan and the upcoming game, then he'd call me over and start with, "Did you hear the one about..." I always ended up getting a good laugh and it helped calm me down before the first whistle. He was always a good friend to Iolani water polo.
Love and aloha,
Randy Bart
